The Irish Space Industry Group (ISIG) was formed in April 2015 as a membership-based organisation governed by a simple written constitution and rules as mutually agreed by its members.

The purpose of the organisation is to represent and promote the collective interests of companies operating in the space sector in Ireland at national and international level and to perform activities on behalf of and driven by member companies to preserve and grow a vibrant and sustainable space industry sector in Ireland.
